we took the boys to the PNE. They had so much fun and Jack was FINALLY tall enough (last year they raised the height requirements making him still to short!), thanks to a one week growth spurt, to go on the bigger rides. Seriously! A week earlier when we took them he wasn't. [sidebar: we like to go opening day to save on the admission cost and the rides are usually free until noon, except this year they weren't and we had to leave early for a birthday party even though they didn't get to go on one ride (we were too busy seeing everything else and the lines were so long) so we said we'd take them again just to ride the rides!)] However all during the week, he was eating and sleeping, eating and sleeping! I clued into this and just thought to measure him before we left the house and sure enough, he was just 48".
