Hey Everyone...

We've been busy here as usual...We had a great Thanksgiving dinner at mom and dad's house. Scott's had soccer twice a week and had his soccer game on Sat. They lost 8:2 I believe. The other team was much bigger and more agressive. As well the "wall of Burnaby" didn't have the defense help he usually has. But they worked on it at practice this week so hopefully this Saturday's game will go better. =) As well, Scott is taking part in the goalie skills camp so he's going to learn some valuable skills there and that will help the team (and him) out too.

Jack started Hip Hop on Monday and had alot of fun. So for the next 3 Mondays, he'll be doing that and probably after Christmas I'll put him back into swimming lessons. Scott is busy enough with soccer. Twice during the week and games on Saturdays.

The boys had an open house the other day for school. Sam wasn't able to get off work early but I went. And it was so cute to see all the work they've been doing since starting in Sept. They're both doing really well and Jack's reading skills have gotten so much better. He loves to read (now that he can) and will sit with a book alone sometimes and read it aloud. It's very cute.

George is getting a molar tooth so, he's sick again. :( He just had an ear infection last month with a different tooth he was getting...and now he's sick with a double ear infection and has antibiotics again! I asked the dr (last month when he had the ear infection) for a referral to an ear, nose and throat specialist at Children's Hospital but they still haven't called me back and now here he is sick again with another one (well both ears so I guess 2?)!! Geez...ya know! I do not want to go down this road again. :( I sure hope they call soon. I have to take George on Monday for a follow up to make sure he's got no fluid left in his ears so if they haven't called by then, I'll tell my dr who will then fax his referral for the THIRD time!

Halloween is coming and the boys are very excited! I knew what I wanted George to be however by the time I got to Old Navy, they were all sold out of his size and then I went back a few days later thinking I'd just buy him the bigger size anyways...but they were ALL gone, not a costume in sight! So, I bought it off Ebay...my first purchase ever from there and it went really well! His costume arrived yesterday and surpriseingly enough he didn't mind wearing it. Although I do wonder how he'll be once I put the bottom half on, lol!

Here's a sneak peek...

Temper tantrum!

We had just gotten home from school and George discovered a yogurt tube in Jack's lunch bag. He knows what they are and well, he wanted it however it was Jack's and he wanted it too. George did not like that at all. And ya know...we can't let a baby win all the time right? So, here's what happened! LOL!

Where's the fish?

George has recently discovered that there are actually fish in the fish tank. I guess he wasn't tall enough to see them before. LOL! He loves watching them swim around and so the light has to be on all the time now so he can see them. And as a result, the tank got a little green and we had to get two sucker fish to clean it. He also walks around making a fish face by sucking his cheeks in and if you watch closely you'll be able to see it. He does this often but never for the camera of course. lol

Grandma and Grandpa got a new toilet and guess who got the box! And while I did try to get a picture of George in the box my camera and him wouldn't co-operate. :( BUT, they all had a ton of fun playing in it!

And I don't quite know what game they were playing here but the fun continued...

George likes to "play" XBOX too! Although he doesn't realize that he's not the one actually playing, lol!

Ok, so my tonight or tomorrow...

lasted for 7 days! OOPS! Sorry about that.

Things have been crazy here lately. We've had to endure soccer Mon and Tues nights, floor hockey on Fridays and soccer games on Saturdays now.

Last week Scott had an orthodontist appt. His dentist had some concerns about his two front top teeth and thought we should see about a retainer. But thankfully, he doesn't need one. At least not yet! He's to go back in a year's time for another evalution but as of now everything seems to be growing ok. Thankgoodness!

Scott also had his first soccer game of the season last Saturday. He was goalie for the first half and only let one goal in and then during the second half he went out and scored a goal! Woohoo! So the final score was 3:2 for our team. :) YAY Lightening!

My dad came to town on Sunday and we all went out for Chinese food. My dad's son (Kevin) came as well with Jenny and their son Ben. It's always great seeing them too. We all love chinese food but the boys especially enjoyed the crab that my dad ordered and George was so well behaved. We didn't even realize until after we left that we had spent almost 2 hrs in the restaurant!

Tuesday after school my dad came over again for a quick visit because he had to leave. :( It's always great to see him but he's so busy (yep, he's retired but his heart has him volunteering for so many things!) he doesn't get to come down very often. The boys really enjoyed seeing him and George had a ton of fun! Here's a picture of my dad with George...

I've got a few more videos and pics to share so I'll upload those (hopefully now ;) ) too. And I would love to have more pictures to share but my camera just doesn't seem to be working very well these days and it has become so hard to get a picture of George lately because he is always on the move! Sit still for a picture just isn't in his vocabulary yet! And just when I think I could grab a picture, the camera's not around! And sure enough if I go to get it, George follows me which recks the moment! LOL!
